Abstract
The following article describes a girl with right upper quadrant abdominal pain following Ceftriaxone therapy for right pleuropneumonia. Ultrasound showed biliar pseudolithiasis after 60 hours of ceftriaxone treatment, a follow up ultrasonographic examination showed an empty gallblader with normal wall thickness. The reversible character of biliary symptoms and sonographic abnormalities of the gallbladder in pediatrics patients treated with ceftriaxone will be discussed.
