Abstract
Haemangiopericytoma is an infrequent tumour in children and have a low incidence in the cervico-facial region. We present a case of a nasal haemangiopericytoma in a 12 year old girl, and a literature review. The child presented with nasal obstruction without epistaxis, the most frequent symptom. She underwent endonasal surgery with a wide resection margin. 16 months later there was no local or distant recurrence. Although the histology has a benign appearence, it does not exclude the possibilty of recurrence. The diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of haemangiopericytoma remains a challenge.
