Abstract
Osteoporosis is a disease which is becoming more frequent in children owing to the increase in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic illnesses, genetic and acquired. There needs to be a high level of clinical suspicion to make a diagnosis and iniciate preventative treatment. We review the concepts of the clinical challenge and the correct interpretation of biochemical and radiological parameters as weil as specific treatments, reporting our experience local.
